“Of all the forces that make for a better world, none is so indispensable, none is so powerful as hope. Without hope a person is only half alive” (Charles Sawyer, American Lawyer)

Slightly heavy quote but it seems as we start reflecting on the impact of the 22 February quake, we could get bogged down in negatives. There is no way to underestimate the difficulty most people have faced over the last 12 month (and 18 months for some) and it can be difficult to see light when we have so little clarity on the future but it would be good if we could begin to inject some hope into our thought, conversations and plans. Hope can carry people a long way.
Lots of notices this week – some are helpful for individuals, others for communities so please check them out.

We’re looking forward to seeing all past and present members at the BBQ this Tuesday. It’s well overtime we celebrated the amazing commitment and energy of all of our people.

Warm regards
Leanne and Brian
